 In 2004, Raintree Essix received the international stamp of approval for quality by achieving ISO 13485:2003 certification, the internationally recognized quality-management system standard. To be certified to this new and more rigorous ISO standard, Raintree Essix fully documented all of its quality-management systems, including all company activities, staff training, customer service, product design and development, purchasing, and customer fulfillment. As an international company, Raintree Essix also achieved all CMDR (Canadian Medical Device Regulations) and European MDD (Medical Device Directive) standards.
